Bus punctuality

← Network Pulse

Measured from live vehicle positions against the scheduled timetable, timed from when a bus leaves each stop rather than when it arrives — a bus reaching a timing point early waits there until it is due. A stop counts as on time from 1 minute early to 5 minutes 59 seconds late, the UK convention. Figures default to timing points — the stops operators publish times for and are held to; times at other stops are interpolated by the timetable publisher rather than promised.

Current service level

How each area is running right now, against how it normally runs at this time of day. Follows the filters above, except the date range — this is always the last hour.

Punctuality mix

Across all recorded stops in the selected range.

On-time performance by day

Percentage of departures within the on-time window, per service day.

On-time performance by hour

When in the day the network runs to time, and when it doesn't.

Operators

Least punctual first.

Lines

Least punctual first.

Feed coverage

Operators with services scheduled that day, and whether their buses actually reported. An operator showing nothing is usually a re-issued timetable rather than a quiet depot — every figure above silently excludes it until the GTFS is refreshed.

Worst stops

Individual stops where buses most often miss the window. Drawn from raw departure records, so only covers the retention window.
